Startupsmining

What the client wanted

A chartered accountant who works with hydropower companies wanted a place where Nepali startups could present themselves and investors could discover them, with a design that stood out. He found me through the Goket website.

Building the public site, admin panel and Go backend

• Public website where startups submit details about their business and investors browse them
• Admin panel where the team reviews submissions and publishes them
• Go backend powering submissions, review and publishing
• Studied startup and investment platforms on Dribbble and elsewhere, then sketched layouts on paper before building
• Color scheme built around red, Nepal’s national color, since the platform is for Nepal only
